How to enable Siri on your mac
Recently I decided to use Siri not only on my iPhone and iPad Pro, but also on my MacBook Pro, because using Siri makes life easier and cuts down task time :) In this article, I will show you how to enable Siri on your mac. Let’s begin.
Preamble
If you are already using Siri on your iPhone, iPad or Apple Watch, then you know that using Siri makes life easier. You can use your voice for many tasks by simply talking with Siri. Siri hears you every time when you say “Hey Siri”. By using Siri you can play music, create new notes, create shopping lists, read new emails and messages (and even reply to them), find out the time anywhere in the world or find out information about your favorite singer or actor and complete many other interesting tasks.
Currently I use MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Mid 2014) with macOS Catalina version 10.15.7. The principle of enabling on Siri looks the same regardless of whether you have iMac, MacBook, MacBook Pro or MacBook Air.
Note! To use Siri on your MacBook, MacBook Pro or MacBook Air, lid must be open.
Note! Siri may not be available in all areas or in all languages and features may vary by area.
Note! To use Siri, your Mac, MacBook, MacBook Pro or MacBook Air must be connected to the internet.
